REDGEMS: Re-Emergent Diseases Global Environment Monitoring from Space

REDGEMS is an innovative and multidisciplinary information system. Its main objective is to highlight dynamical linkages between climate and environment variability/change and re-emerging/new diseases, on a global scale.

The main diseases addressed by REDGEMS are: Rift Valley fever, vibrio diseases and cholera, malaria and dengue.

The website (available in English only) delivers information about these diseases, climate and environment issues, monitoring from space, running projects, and many links to many other related websites.

I’d like to take a look at the REDGEMS site, but when I click on the link or type the URL http://www.redgems.org, I get an error of server not found. Is REDGEMS still operational, or has it been abandoned? Will it be resurrected? I’m reviewing a grant proposal to ANR that wishes to use REDGEMS to deposit their data. If it will be operational, is their an archive/cached version available somewhere?
